END OF LIFE DOULA GOALS
The fundamental goal of Anita Kellman, End of Life Doula, is to encourage people to become knowledgeable about—and responsible for—their own life and death process. An end of life doula helps individuals experience optimal quality of life in the final stages by supporting the changing factors during the end of life process. An end of life doula is a supporting partner in the transition to death. Anita will hold space and guide individuals and families to gain clarity and peace throughout the palliative process.
Since every human being and their end of life is unique and the experience varies, this business cannot guarantee any specific result from our programs.
If you suffer from a medical, pathological or psychological condition, you need to consult with an appropriate healthcare provider. An end of life doula is not a substitute for your family physician or other appropriate healthcare provider.
Every client is a unique individual, and it is not possible to determine in advance how you will respond to end of life support and guidance. Stay in contact with your end of life doula so they can stay abreast of the patient’s progress and provide support for the best course of action going forward. Communication improves this and all processes.
